Climbing Higher: Leadership Lessons from the Inca Trail and a Year of Growth
This year ended on a high (literally).
In June, I hiked the 26-mile Inca Trail to Machu Picchu: 14,000-ft passes, rainstorms, exhaustion, and one of the most breathtaking sunrises I’ve ever witnessed. Four days on that ancient path taught me more about leadership and business than two decades in the office ever could.
Preparation builds the foundation. Perseverance gets you over Dead Woman’s Pass. Adaptability keeps you moving when the trail (or the market) changes under your feet. And perspective, the view from the Sun Gate, reminds you why every hard step was worth it.
Back at Level 10 Solutions, we’re closing 2025 the same way we climbed that mountain: ready for the unexpected, pushing forward together, and never losing sight of the summit we’re helping our clients reach.
Here’s to the climbs behind us, the ones ahead, and the people we get to climb with. Thank you for an incredible year. Let’s make 2026 even higher.
